Jikiden Reiki seminars offer a pathway for you to explore the simple , grounded and beautiful healing art of Reiki as it was first practiced in Japan
Seminars are taught as close as possible to the original seminars held by Chujiro Hayashi in Japan in the early 19th century and to the teachings of its founder Mikao Usui . There is a focus on the rich history of Reiki which grounds your understanding and brings an aliveness to its founding members as you delve into their journeys with Reiki and how it was used within the community

The 3 bodies – Understand the interconnectedness of the physical, mental, and emotional bodies
Following Shoden level 1, which focuses on physical Reiki treatments you will learn :
– Sei Heki techniques that support mental and emotional well-being.
– You will also learn Enkaku , distant healing techniques

Seminar fees are set by the UK Jikiden Reiki Association JRUKA
- Shoden and Okuden courses can be taught together usually over 3 or 5 consecutive days, depending on the teacher and availability of students
- Shoden – parts 1, 2, and 3 are taught over 2 or 3 days,
- Okuden – parts 1 and 2 are taught over 1or 2 days
Repeating the courses
It is recommended that students re-join the workshops at regular intervals to stay within a community , receive Reiju (attunements) and to experience a variety of teachers .

Thank you for facilitating this Jikiden Reiki training. I felt that it bought me much closer to the authentic roots and practice of Reiki. It was very good to understand the 3 branches of Reiki and the lineage of each branch. I thought you delivered this very clearly and in a manner which bought the stories alive. This gave me a sense of connection to Sensei Usui. I very much liked the pace of the weekend and the opportunity for practicing the techniques was confidence building. I also liked the way that you continuously revised the knowledge and techniques throughout the training as this helped imbed the knowledge. Leanne is an excellent reiki teacher. I was a complete novice and over the three days she gave me a solid grounding in the subject. She started by explaining the theoretical and historical context of Jikiden reiki and then we moved into the practical elements.
